Fold

"Fold" began as a simple idea and slowly turned into a test of precision.

This two-piece coffee table has no right angles. Not a single 90-degree joint. Every connection had to be measured, planed, and adjusted individually, until the geometry finally made sense on its own terms. Nothing here could be standardized or rushed, each angle demanded its own solution.

The material is repurposed spruce plywood, soft, light, and usually overlooked. Because of its fragility, the surface is protected with a transparent high-gloss epoxy resin, giving the table durability while introducing a smooth, reflective texture that changes with light and movement.

Friends commissioned the table for their 5th anniversary. It feels right that the object arrived to them, shaped by trust, patience, and a shared attention to detail.
